Security Architecture
In an age of data breaches, we take a radical approach: we don't store your data.Traditional online tools upload your files to a cloud server to process them. This creates a risk that your sensitive PDF contracts or private photos could be intercepted or stored.
For heavy lifting like video processing, we use FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly (Wasm) — running entirely inside your browser tab. For other tasks like image editing and PDF manipulation, we use modern JavaScript libraries that operate directly on your device's memory. For all of these, your file is never uploaded to our servers. A small number of tools do need the network to do their job at all — those are named on our privacy policy page, and none of them upload your files.
